Quick Credibility
Booster #1. Get testimonials. If you have a quiver
of glowing testimonials you stand a fantastic chance
of raking in the big money. This is a no brainier.
People love hearing success stories about how a
certain product or service solved their problem.
They want to hear the same about you.
Quick Credibility
Booster #2. Get endorsements. Much like the above
booster but with a slight twist. Get a glowing
testimonial from someone your customers respect and
perceive as a celebrity or expert in that field.
Quick Credibility
Booster #3. Make it believable. People are
skeptical so use precise numbers in your copy.
Never say it works 100% of the time or "all the
time." Instead
say it works 99.97% of the time.
Quick Credibility
Booster #4. Create an image and perception of
success and professionalism. People are skeptical.
And gaining their trust is no easy feat. So make
sure all your correspondence and phone interaction
is as professional and helpful as feasible. Avoid
any appearance of being a fly-by-night operation.
Quick Credibility
Booster #5. Add pictures of yourself and the
product. Give people a visual of who they’re
talking to and what they’re going to buy from you.
Show them you’re real.
Quick Credibility
Booster #6. Make sure your signature is big and
bold. Also place your signature under your
guarantee. You can even write a paragraph or
headline and add your signature. Doing this will
convey that you believe so highly in your product
that you’ll put
your reputation on the line.
Quick Credibility
Booster #7. Display your full contact information
such as your address, phone numbers, email, contact
names, and website in plain view in your copy.
You may even want to place all of your contact info
more than once throughout your main sales letter.
The most important thing to
remember is that your ability to persuade and
influence your prospects and customers hinges on the
image of credibility
that you’ve created in their mind. So spend time
fortifying an image of credibility in your copy, and
collect as many testimonials and endorsements as you
can.
